Cookies and Browser Storage Notice

About this notice
This notice explains the cookies and other browser storage that BizWizard AI, LLC uses on www.bizwizard.ai and app.bizwizard.ai. BizWizard AI, LLC ("BizWizard", "we", "us", "our") is a Delaware limited liability company.
- www.bizwizard.ai is our marketing site. bizwizard.ai redirects there.
- app.bizwizard.ai is the BizWizard app.
This notice lists every cookie and browser-storage item that our code sets on these sites as of the effective date above, what each one is for, how long it lasts, and how to remove it.
Please read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.
You must be at least 18 years old to use BizWizard.
The short version
- We set one cookie of our own. It is set when you start Google sign-in ("Continue with Google", or "Connect" on the Account page) and lasts up to 10 minutes.
- The app keeps you signed in with an item in your browser's local storage, not with a cookie.
- The marketing site saves one item, your light or dark theme choice, and only if you click the theme toggle.
- Our pages load no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and neither site loads scripts from other companies. None of the items in this notice is used for analytics, advertising or tracking.
- Every item is either essential or remembers a preference on this device, so we don't show a cookie banner. See Consent.
- Signing out removes your sign-in token from this browser, but our servers keep accepting a token that has already been issued until it expires, and some app items stay until you clear them. See How to clear or control these items.
Cookies and browser storage in brief
A cookie is a small piece of data that a website asks your browser to keep and send back with later requests to that website.
Local storage and session storage also keep data in your browser, but your browser does not send that data anywhere by itself. Other websites can't read it. Anyone who can use your browser on this device can see it, though (for example, with the browser's developer tools), and so can browser extensions that have access to our sites. Local storage stays until it is deleted. Session storage is kept separately for each browser tab and normally ends when you close that tab.
Local and session storage are kept separately for each of our sites, so www.bizwizard.ai and app.bizwizard.ai can each read only their own items. Our one cookie is different: it is shared by all our sites (see below).
In this notice, site data means a site's cookies and storage together. Your browser's settings may call it "cookies and other site data".
Everything we store in your browser
The tables below list every item, as of the effective date. Each item is in one of two categories:
- Essential: needed for sign-in, for security, or for a feature you're using to work.
- Preference: remembers a choice or a display setting on this device. Our sites work without it.
"Needed for the feature to work?" says whether the feature an item serves stops working without it. See Consent for why we don't show a cookie banner.
Our one cookie (all bizwizard.ai sites)

- It goes to every bizwizard.ai address. The cookie is set for the whole bizwizard.ai domain. While it lasts, your browser sends it with every request to a bizwizard.ai address, including bizwizard.ai, www.bizwizard.ai and app.bizwizard.ai, marketing pages included. Only the Google sign-in check uses it.
- It is marked Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. These settings tell your browser to send it only over secure (HTTPS) connections, not to let scripts on our pages read it, and not to send it with requests that other websites make in the background.

- Our forms save nothing in your browser. The Contact form, the Request Access form and the access-code box on www.bizwizard.ai store nothing in your browser.

- Nothing else. As of the effective date, our code sets no other cookies on either site, and neither site uses any other kind of browser storage, such as IndexedDB, offline caches or service workers. A security cookie that Vercel, our hosting provider, may set is covered under "Other companies" below.
- If the app opens at a www.bizwizard.ai address. If the app opens at an unusual www.bizwizard.ai address (for example, from a mistyped link) and you sign in there with your email and password, the app's items are saved under www.bizwizard.ai instead of app.bizwizard.ai. Clearing site data for bizwizard.ai, www.bizwizard.ai and app.bizwizard.ai removes them everywhere.
Analytics and tracking
- No analytics or tracking tools. We don't install or load any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking or error-monitoring tool on either site.
- No analytics scripts. No page on our sites loads analytics scripts, including the analytics scripts that Vercel, our hosting provider, offers.
- Records kept on our servers. Our app's server logs each request it receives, and Vercel keeps its own records of the requests it handles. We also keep records of how the app is used, such as your last sign-in time, how many times you have signed in, and your use of the AI features. Some things you do in the app are saved with your venture. These include saving or dismissing a resource suggestion, and clicking one you haven't saved or dismissed, each with the time. They also include clicking, dismissing or changing the status of an item on the Company Creation Checklist. Clicking a vendor app on the checklist also saves that vendor and its category. These records are kept on our servers, not in cookies or in your browser; the app identifies you to our servers with the sign-in token described above. We use them to run and support the app, investigate problems, and measure and control the cost of the AI features. Our Privacy Policy describes them.
- Email. We don't add tracking images or tracked links to the emails our app sends. The app's only automated email to users is the password-reset email.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We don't sell or share personal information, and we don't track you across other websites, so there's nothing for these browser signals to turn off. Our sites don't change how they work in response to Do Not Track signals.
Other companies
- Google, for "Continue with Google". If you sign in with Google, your browser goes to Google's sign-in pages, where Google's own cookie and privacy practices apply. See Google's Privacy Policy. Our sites load no Google scripts.
- Vercel, our hosting provider. Vercel delivers both sites and handles every request to them. We haven't set up any Vercel security checks for our sites, but Vercel may set its own security cookie if its platform shows a visitor a security check. Such a cookie would serve security. Vercel decides its name, what it holds and how long it lasts, and our code doesn't read or use it. Vercel describes its own practices in its privacy notice.
- No other third-party scripts or fonts. Our sites load no scripts or fonts from other companies; our fonts come from our own sites. The marketing site loads nothing at all from other companies' servers. Images you add with the app's upload buttons are stored with your venture, not loaded from other websites. A pitch deck can also hold the address of an image on another website. The app's own screens don't save one, but if a deck holds one, your browser loads that image from that website, which can set its own cookies. While you use our sites, your browser does not contact our other service providers, such as our database, email and AI providers, and they set nothing in it.
- Links to other websites. Our sites link to other websites, such as our social media pages and, in the app, research sources and resource suggestions. Nothing loads from those sites until you click a link. Once you are on another site, that site's own cookie practices apply.
- Our previous marketing site. Until September 28, 2026, our previous marketing site loaded its fonts from Google Fonts, so visitors' browsers requested them from Google's servers, and it sent its contact and newsletter forms to Formspree, which may still hold those messages. Neither is used today.
How to clear or control these items

- Sign-in sessions. When you sign in, your browser receives a sign-in token that our servers accept for 7 days. Signing out removes the token from that browser. But our servers keep accepting a token that has already been issued until it expires, even after you sign out, change or reset your password, or delete your account. So signing out, or changing your password, doesn't end a sign-in on another browser or device.
- Shared computers. Because signing out leaves some items behind, when you finish on a shared computer, clear site data for bizwizard.ai, www.bizwizard.ai and app.bizwizard.ai, and close every tab you had open on our sites. Once you open a password-reset link, it stays in your address bar and browser history, and it keeps working until it is used, a newer link is requested, or it expires 60 minutes after you requested it. So on a shared computer, clear your browsing history too.
- Blocking. Your browser's settings let you block cookies and site data. If you block them for bizwizard.ai, "Continue with Google" may not work, and you may not be able to sign in to the app or stay signed in. Your finance approvals and balance-sheet assumptions may not be saved, and the site may not remember your theme choice.
- Theme. On www.bizwizard.ai you can switch between light and dark at any time with the footer toggle. To make the site forget your choice, clear site data for www.bizwizard.ai.
Consent
We don't show a cookie banner or ask you to accept these items, because:
- we don't use cookies or browser storage for analytics, advertising or tracking;
- only our own code uses these items, and no other company's scripts run on our sites; and
- each item is either essential (needed for sign-in, for security, or for a feature you're using) or remembers a preference on this device.
The preference items are mkt-theme, bizwizard_active_venture, nav-open, bizwizard_sound_muted, help-assistant-open, pf-advisor-open and deck-advisor-open. Our sites work without them. If you object to them, you can remove them at any time, for free (see also How to clear or control these items):
- Theme choice. Clear site data for www.bizwizard.ai.
- Selected venture. Sign out, or clear site data for app.bizwizard.ai.
- Chat-panel settings. Close the tab.
- Sidebar and sound settings. Clear site data for app.bizwizard.ai. This also signs you out of the app and deletes your finance approvals and balance-sheet assumptions, which exist only in your browser.
The selected venture, the sidebar setting and the chat-panel settings are saved again automatically the next time you use the app. The theme and sound settings are saved again only if you click the theme toggle or the mute button, and you can switch the theme back at any time with the toggle.
Where you live
This notice applies wherever you live.
- United States. We don't sell or share personal information, and none of the items in this notice is used for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing here to opt out of. Our Privacy Policy explains your US privacy rights and how to use them.
- EEA and UK. If the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to our processing of your information, our Privacy Policy explains the legal bases we rely on, your rights, and your right to complain to a supervisory authority. Why we don't ask for your consent to these items is explained under Consent. To ask about any of this, email contact@bizwizard.ai.
Changes to this notice
We'll update this notice when we add a cookie, storage item or third-party script. When we change this notice, we'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date at the top.
